pSpark Order Placement

Updated over a month ago

What You Can Ask

What You Want

Example Prompt

Buy/sell

“Buy 2 ES” or “Short 1 NQ”

Close position

“Close my Gold position” or “Flatten all”

Bracket order

“Bracket order on NQ with 20-point stop”

Trailing stop

“Trailing stop on my ES position”

Modify order

“Move my stop to 4950”

Cancel order

“Cancel my ES order”

Add protection

“Add a stop loss to my Gold position”

How It Works

  1. Validates your request - checks the instrument exists, market is open, and your account is active

  2. Shows current price - so you can make an informed decision

  3. Calculates risk - displays exactly how much is at risk with real numbers

  4. Provides step-by-step UI instructions - tells you which tab, button, and field to use

  5. Warns about risks - upcoming events, unprotected positions, thin liquidity

Risk Calculation Example

When you say “Buy 2 MES at 5100 with a stop at 5090”:

Points at risk: 10 (5100 - 5090)

Ticks at risk: 40 (10 / 0.25)

Risk per contract: $50 (40 x $1.25)

Total risk: $100 (2 contracts x $50)

Important

  • pSpark guides you through order placement - it does not execute orders on your behalf

  • It will never suggest a price - you decide where to enter, stop, and take profit

  • If you don’t specify direction (long/short), it shows the current price and asks
