Polaris - Trade Journaling (Compass)

Updated over a month ago

Compass is TradeSea’s AI trade journal, powered by Polaris. It automatically logs your trades and lets you add context, emotions, and notes — all through natural conversation.

What You Can Ask

What You Want

Example Prompt

Log a trade note

"I took that NQ short because of the FVG rejection at VWAP"

Log emotions

"Felt anxious on that last trade, held too long"

Review journal

"Show my recent journal entries"

Find patterns

"Do I journal differently on winning vs losing days?"

Add context

"That ES trade was part of my ICT setup"

How It Works

Compass automatically creates a journal entry for every trade you take. You can enrich these entries through natural conversation - tell Polaris what you were thinking, why you took the trade, or how you felt. It stores all of this alongside your trade data.

Tips

  • Journal in real-time: "Just took a long on NQ, felt confident in the setup"

  • Review patterns over time: "What do I usually write before my losing trades?"

  • Use it as a voice for your trading thoughts - no structured format required
