July 3 and July 6 combine into a single trade date: July 6. July 5 falls within the same trade date as the market reopens.
Realized P&L does not reset at the July 3 holiday close. It carries forward into the reopening on July 5 and continues through the close of Trade Date July 6.

Friday, July 3, 12:00 PM CT: Market closes for the holiday.
Sunday, July 5, 5:00 PM CT: Market reopens for Trade Date July 6.
Monday, July 6, 4:00 PM CT: Market closes for Trade Date July 6.
What You Need to Do
Positions and orders remain open across the holiday close unless you close them yourself. If you want to avoid exposure over the long weekend, close your positions and orders manually before market close on July 3 at 12:00 PM CT.
Realized P&L will carry forward and continue when the market reopens on July 5. It does not reset at the holiday close.
